Aquascape is a node point between Playscape and Nurturescape, and it will complement nicely the array of habitats developed by Glasgow Roots. The wetland will offer habitat for protected species such as otters and water voles. The latter is adapting on life on land too, however their initial natural habitat is next to water bodies.
